Aaron Flores

September 11, 1955 — September 1, 2025

Algunos de sus programas favoritos incluían "Smoky and The Bandit" y "I Love Lucy".

On Monday September 1st our beloved Aaron Davila Flores passed away after several years battling many health concerns. He continued strong until the very end, always smiling and persevering even to the point of hiding any pain he was having. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

He was born September 11 1955 in Zacatecas, Mexico to Nicolas Davila and Josefina Flores. He was the second oldest child of 6 children. Due to the financial situation at home, he left as a young teenager, working to help provide for his younger siblings. After a few years he came to the US and worked on farms in small towns throughout Wyoming, Colorado and other states in the West. It was during this time that he fell in love with western movies and oldies music. Some of his favorite shows included Smoky and The Bandit and I Love Lucy. To this day, whenever anyone came to the house to visit him, they could almost be guaranteed to have a western show playing. In 1988 he met the love of his life Amalia Huizar in California. He became stepdad to her 3 children Marlene, Jessy and Nancy. They later welcomed their own two children Alejandro and Aaron. They spent several years in California before moving to Illinois and finally settling in Utah where they have been since 2008.

He did several jobs but the job he held the longest was welding for airplane parts. He was very proud and hardworking. He had his first heart attack in 2003 which put him out of work for a short time. He was able to return back to work and continued to work until 2010 when he suffered his first stroke which affected his body. Although he was no longer employed, he would continue keeping busy around the house and helping his family. He suffered another major stroke in 2015 which affected his speech and made communicating with others more difficult. In August 2024 he was diagnosed with kidney failure and began dialysis.

He leaves behind his beloved wife Amalia Huizar, 2 children Alejandro (Danica) and Aaron (Teresa), 3 step children Marlene Correa, Jessy Correa (Shelley) and Nancy Correa (Eduardo). He also had 25 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren whom he absolutely adored. He was loved by all who knew him and will continue to be miss every day.
