Arthur Franklin Millet died at 58 years old in the Utah Valley Hospital on February 23, 2025. After a valiant battle with health challenges and a 2-week stay in the ICU, Arthur died from heart complications.
Arthur was born to Franklin Millet and Katherine Louise Berry on December 30, 1966, in Provo, Utah. He graduated from American Fork High School and later in life followed a dream of taking college courses and attending UVU. On August 14, 2004, Arthur happily married Karen Lynn Curry. She was the love of his life. They were sealed in the Salt Lake City temple on February 13, 2010. Arthur lived his whole life in the Utah County area.
Arthur enjoyed his work in the fast-food industry. He always felt he was an asset to the companies he worked for. Arthur fully loved his membership in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. His favorite hobby is genealogy work. Anyone who knew Arthur well was often presented with the large binders of family history he put together. Arthur’s love of his Savior, Jesus Christ, was profound and intense, and he consistently bore witness of it to others and in testimony meetings.
Arthur had a fond love of movies, with some of his favorites being the Star Wars series. Arthur loved trains and spent years gathering parts to eventually have an entire train. He was especially fond of the engine and caboose. Some of Arthur’s tenderest moments were when he and Karen were dancing or when she would sing to him.
Arthur is survived by his wife, Karen, and his daughter, Autumn Millett. Because others watched over Arthur in the foster system, many cared for and loved him profoundly and called him family. Arthur was deeply loved by all who knew him.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28, 2025, at the Rivergrove Stake building, 450 N 1220 W, Provo, UT 84601. The viewing will be held from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., and the funeral service will start at 2:30 p.m.
