Born on November 7, 1958, in Provo, Utah, Dennis was the son of Alma Reid Olsen and Dorothy Faye Danner Olsen. He was raised in Utah, where he developed the values that guided him throughout his life—integrity, diligence, and compassion for others. A deep love for the outdoors was a constant throughout Dennis’s life. In his younger years, he spent countless days skiing Utah’s slopes. Fishing was another lifelong passion, especially along the Provo River and Diamond Fork. A devoted sports fan, Dennis was a proud and unwavering supporter of the Denver Broncos.
