Jill Irene Gullickson (Tompkins), 61, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2025, in Orem, Utah, surrounded by the love of her family and friends. She was born on November 21, 1964, in Fresno, California, and spent her life devoted to the people she loved and the faith that guided her.

Jill’s greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her children: Jason Kennedy (children: Boss and Basha), Janell Kennedy and Matt Anderson (children: Brooklin (AJ) Hansen, Brynden, Brayden, Emma, Averie, Nevaeh, and Hazel), Jessica Kennedy and Trace Sanford (children: Halle and Hudson), and Jordan Hegemann and Braedon Hegemann (child: Brylee). She adored each of her grandchildren and cherished her role as their grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her father, Leon Clayton Tompkins; her mother, MaryLee Simpson Dugovic; and her stepfather, James Aurther Dugovic and many other relatives that passed before her.

Sixteen years ago, Jill was faced with the devastating news of cancer. From that moment forward, she showed unwavering determination to fight for more time with her children and grandchildren. She endured countless challenges and overcame so many ailments, pushing through each one with fierce strength, relentless courage, and a deep faith in Jesus Christ. Although she ultimately lost her life to the disease she battled for so long, she remained a source of encouragement, hope, and strength to everyone who knew her.

Jill lived a life defined by faith and compassion. She was strong-willed, determined, inquisitive, and courageous, qualities that shaped every part of her journey. She spent many years working in management and also built a meaningful career as a medical biller. No matter the role, her dedication, reliability, and care for others were always evident. But her true calling was serving people, she was always looking for ways to lift, help, and comfort those in need.

Her church community and fellowship were a central part of her life. Through her unwavering faith in Jesus Christ, she inspired and motivated countless people, offering love, support, and encouragement to anyone who crossed her path.

In her free time, Jill loved to travel, especially cruises and quick getaways to Wendover. She embraced life with curiosity and joy, collecting memories everywhere she went.

She taught her children, grandchildren, and all who knew her what it means to be strong, to believe in yourself, and to trust in the greater good. Her legacy is one of love, loyalty, honesty, compassion, and an unshakeable belief in those she cared about.

A celebration of Jill’s life will be held on Sunday, December 14, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Spring Creek Mortuary, 737 N Main St, Springville, Utah. All who loved her are welcome to attend.
