Maridean Proctor, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed
away peacefully on Monday, August 18, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on September 21, 1941, in Ephraim, Utah, Maridean devoted her life to caring for her
family and nurturing those she loved. She was the cherished wife of Richard Proctor, with
whom she shared a life filled with love and partnership. Together, they raised five children:
Rashelle Proctor (deceased), Richard Proctor II (deceased), Renee Wilson, Sondra Powell
(David), and Dallas Proctor (Sarah).
Family was the center of Maridean’s world. She found her greatest joy in spending time with
her ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, who lovingly knew her as “Nana.”
Whether hosting family gatherings, supporting her family in all of their various activities, or
simply offering a warm hug and listening ear, she created a legacy of love that will carry
forward through generations.
She will be remembered for her kindness, her unwavering devotion to her family, and the
joy she brought to everyone fortunate enough to know her.
She is survived by her loving husband Richard, her children Renee, Sondra, and Dallas, her
grandchildren, and her great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her children Rashelle
and Richard, who she now joins in eternal rest.
A Celebration of Life Open House will be held on Friday, August 22, from 1:00–3:00
p.m. Please come visit with Richard Proctor and his family as they celebrate the life of their
wife, mom, and Nana, Maridean Proctor. We would love to have you join us in sharing
stories and memories.
