Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother Melodee Margrett Wilcox Hardy, age 73 passed away on March 2, 2022 with family by her side in her home. Melodee was born in Springville, Utah on December 27, 1948 to Henry & Darlene Wilcox. She was the youngest of the 3 children.
Melodee met the love of her life Owen Hardy at Springville High school. Owen and Melodee were married February 9, 1966. They were blessed with three children. Melodee later went back to school to get her License Practical Nurse at Utah Valley College. Melodee had a love for people and a desire to care for others. She worked at several nursing homes, Utah Valley Hospital and Nestle.
Melodee was born and raised a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saint.
In 1983, Melodee and Owen built a cabin together. During this time they developed a love for the cabin, as well as a deeper love for each other. She would work from morning to night improving the surrounding of the cabin. She loves to do crafts and read.
Melodee was preceded in the death of her parents Henry and Darlene, two brothers Don and Pete and son Brent. She is survived by her husband Owen, her children Brandee Mathena (Jason), Danyel Snelson (Terry) and her grandchildren Austin, McKenna, Madison, Brady, Kaylee, and Bree. She had seven great grandchildren

Graveside services will be held Friday, March 4, 2022 at 11:00 am at the Evergreen Cemetery in Springville, UT.
