Sharon Ann Higginson Jensen (Sherry) passed peacefully from this earth January 20, 2026. Sherry was born June 25, 1943, to loving parents, Clyde and Thelma Higginson in Kingman, Arizona. She was the oldest of seven children: Linda (Jon, deceased) Perkins, Steven (Delores) Higginson, Rosemary (Jim) Yates, Del Ray Higginson, Debra (Bob) Barton, and Kraig (Jeanette) Higginson.
Sherry graduated from Brigham Young University in the Nursing Program and worked as an RN at Cottonwood Hospital in Murray, Utah. She met her eternal sweetheart, Richard, while attending BYU. She loved her role as mother, happily raising their seven children: Mike (Regina) Jensen, Ken Jensen (deceased), Mark (Lisa) Jensen, Darren (Rachael) Jensen, Troy (Nichole) Jensen, Taylor (Lexi) Jensen, and Tasha (John) Charlton. They also helped raise Breiana (Stuart) Wagner and Keayra (Jimmie) McDowell, Ken’s daughters.
Sherry was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served faithfully in many callings. She especially enjoyed serving with the young women and as a temple worker. Sherry and Richard enjoyed serving missions together later in life in Calgary, Alberta, Canada; Adelaide, Australia; Martin’s Cove, and Deseret Land and Livestock.
